In September 2025, while driving through Florence, our Element Exteriors crew noticed a home with visible damage to a 3-tab roof. After speaking with the homeowner, Mr. Bobby B., we completed a full inspection and found that his roof was in dire need of attention. Inside, we discovered leaks in six different rooms.

Together with Mr. Bobby, we contacted his insurance company to begin the claim process. Initially, the insurance estimate came back at just $11,000 and didn’t include any of the necessary interior repairs or the removal and reinstallation of the existing solar panels.

After several weeks of communication and collaboration—with some much-appreciated persistence and support from Mr. Bobby—we successfully negotiated a full replacement valued at $29,000, including coverage for all six interior rooms.
